Katarzyna Website Launched

The latest project I’ve worked on at Cru Digital is the Katarzyna Group website.

The project launched today and is a great example of Actionscript 3 and AJAX working together to achieve the best of both worlds.

The design is attributed to Andrew Suggit at The Room, the PHP development to Cru’s Steven Miles.

You can view the website at: www.katarzyna.com.au

Camping – All Good Excuses Need Proof

Went camping – Easter weekend. Was fun. Got pictures.

The Epic Saga of Steak, Beer, Tents and Logs.

Drumkit From Hell

I’ve been flat out at work and have had little in the way of things to upload. Either that or, more likely, I found the Drumkit From Hell plugin after going camping on Easter Weekend. If Devin Townsend can do it with Ziltoid the Omniscient… well… I suggest you make me a coffee. You have five earth minutes.

Unwind with The Drumkit From Hell

Again, this track will probably go to Vyrion’s next EP.

Melodic Metal

I spent most of the night recording a melodic death metal track I was working on over the weekend. I aim to use it in the Vyrion project – though at the moment we’re without a drummer and will remain inactive until we find a suitable replacement.

Enough chat, Download Melodic Metal

Welcome to the Rockdale Record

There comes a time when a web developer, musician or audio producer feels the need to record some of the work, techniques and general happenings of his daily pastime in a series of journal styled entries for publication to the internet.

That time, for me, is now.

These blogs are published not just at the off-chance that somebody with an appreciation might stop by – though it certainly isn’t discouraged – they are published so that the work can be archived – at worst – or shared at best.

If you are a friend, I thank you for stopping by, and apologize upfront for what could be a laborious read. If you’re an industry professional, I welcome you to come and share your knowledge. If you’re an upstart, I hope you can find something that helps. Other’s websites like these helped make me who I am, and will continue to shape me on my way through.

Welcome to my blog.
